My sister is 17 and im 14 and she keeps stealing my stuff like money and clothes and all sorts of stuff she can get into the problem is my step dad wont do anything about it my real mom is just like im sorry shes not my kid so i cant boss her around i understand that and all but my step-dad wont because he’s afraid she will get mad and leave to her moms house and never talk to him again…but it is so anoyying seriously everything i leave out on accident is gone. and then denies it! one time she took my sunglasses and my mom even saw her with them on and she still denied it. my step dad didnt do anything and what is sad is she made her friend take the blame that she accidently took them thinking they were hers even though she didnt leave her sunglasses at her house so i guess she brought 2 pairs.. i think not… please help any tips on what i can do about this?

i work at a resell shop and most of the stuff we get is very nice and is hardly used. we take everything and clean it up. well anyways, it’s my job to go through the boxes that people bring in and give them money for what they have brought in. we got in 5 pairs of Designer DG sunglasses. they look nice but they aren’t anything special, right?

I have no problem with anyone buying these items. In my opinion, it is the designers who are ripping the public off. Why would anyone pay $400 dollars for a pair of Chanel sunglasses or $800 for a purse that cost them a few dollars to manufacture? And please don’t tell me how much better they are made than a purse at Walmart. I bought a Prada purse from an authorized Prada dealer and the thing fell apart in a year and a half. I also do not agree that the fakes are costing companies millions of dollars in sales. First of all, I would never pay 400 for sunlasses so they wouldn’t have that sale to begin with. I would pay 60 dollars for a good fake Prada purse or Chanel sunglasses. So that argument is not valid. I think it is crazy to spend that kind of money on real designer items. For what? So the designer can get richer than he already is?

I used to have a pair of Smith brand sunglasses worth around $150! (I got them cheaper) and then my boyfriend lost them. He cannot understand why he should fork over more money for another pair of Smith polarized glasses for me instead of buying the cheap sunglasses found anywhere. I try to answer him, but what should be my argument? I just think they’re much better quality and worth paying more ONCE than buying numerous cheap glasses over my lifetime. Help! I need to convince him!
